Green Cards
Welcome home.

Most people obtain green cards by being sponsored by their relatives (including their spouses) or through their employers. Others become permanent residents through EB-5 investments, the green card lottery or asylum. Our website contains dozens of articles explaining how you can qualify for a green card and how the process works.

Green cards through marriage is sometimes referred to as the “fast track” to lawful permanent residence. The spouse of a U.S. citizen is deemed an “immediate relative” under the law meaning that there are no quota restrictions on the number of people who can obtain green cards through marriage to U.S. citizens.

Personal Injury
Comfort through hardship.

Personal injury law covers a broad category of types of injuries, illnesses, and deaths resulting from an act of negligence, recklessness, or a deliberate act. While this is a complex body of law, there are certain basic facts that apply to all cases. The key factor in the success of a personal injury claim or lawsuit is establishing that another party committed an act of negligence.

Asylum Based Immigration
Apply for your right to liberty.

If you are fearful of returning to your home country because doing so risks your life or freedom, you may be eligible to apply for political asylum. You must show that you have suffered persecution or have a well-founded fear of future persecution due to your race; religion; nationality; membership in a particular social group; and/or political opinion. Absent certain exceptions, you must apply for asylum within one year of your most recent arrival into the United States.

Family Based Immigration
Your right to be with family.

Of the two major types of immigrant visas - family based and employment based - the first is treated most preferentially by the United States government. As evidence of this, consider the fact that there is no yearly limit on the number of visas available to immediate relatives of U.S. citizens.

Naturalization & Citizenship.

Deciding to become a United States citizen may be one of the most important decisions in your life. There are many benefits to becoming a United States citizen such as voting, petitioning family members to come the United States or enhancing your petition, obtaining citizenship for your children who are born abroad, traveling with a US passport, becoming eligible for federal jobs, and being able to remain outside the United States for as long as you want without fear that your status may be taken away.
